在诗学主张上,金克木坚持"纯诗"的诗歌理念,主要表现在对诗的本质、诗的形式、诗的思维等方面的纯诗化追求,注重诗歌内在的精纯品质,这些理论探索对"纯诗"的中国化移植具有深刻的启示意义。同时,面对抗战爆发后所带来时代浪潮的巨变,金克木也表现出向现实性、大众化诗学靠拢的趋向,折射出中国"纯诗"发展的现实局限与困境。

Jin Kemu persists on the idea of ＂pure poem＂in his poetry theory,which is demonstrated in his pure poetic pursuing for the essence,form and thinking of poems,and his emphasizing on the internal refined quality of poems. This theoretic exploration has a deep inspiration on the transplanting of the ＂pure poem＂to China. At the same time,facing the dramatic change of the current affairs after the outburst of the anti-Japanese war,he also expressed a trend of walking towards reality and popular poetry,reflecting the realistic limitation and predicament of the development of ＂pure poem＂in China.
