This paper briefly summarized the knowledge and the features of wet disease in traditional Chinese medicine. Combined with modern medical study to wet disease,the authors put forward that pathological mechanism of wet disease was the beginning stage of microcirculation metabolism disorders in local tissue and inflammatory reaction.The development of wet disease was the manifestation of the body＇s energy metabolic disorders in local lesion tissue.Dysfunction of ＂spleen Qi scatters essence＂was the ＂key＂and the root cause for the emergence of wet disease.
