The Statistic Analysis of the Use of Electronic Resources in University Library——A case study of the foreign language databases of Sichuan Normal University

结合四川师范大学图书馆的实际情况,以7个外文数据库为例,依据数据库商在线统计平台提供的COUNTER使用报告,分析师生使用习惯和规律、数据库篇均使用成本,并对比两个专业化的数据库,评价不同电子资源类型的影响,为电子资源的购买决策过程提供辅助。

Combined with the status in the library of Sichuan Normal University, choosing seven foreign language databases as examples, according to the COUNTER reports which was provided by the publishers and vendors, this article analyzed the use rules of teachers and students, the average cost per successful full - text document download by users. The article also compared two specialized scholarly databases and evaluated different types of e - resources. The goal of all above was to assist the decision - making process about purchasing e - resources.
