原发性胆汁性肝硬化(PBC)是一种与自身免疫有关的疾病,其确切的发病机制至今尚不清楚。中医学中没有其病名,根据疾病阶段及临床表现将其归属于"胁痛""积聚""黄疸""鼓胀"等病症。近年来,中医辨证论治在PBC的治疗中发挥重要作用,但由于病机复杂,辨证标准至今尚未统一。因此,有必要运用现代医学的研究方法来加强中医对PBC的认识。

Primary biliary cirrhosis（PBC）,whose exact pathogenesis remains unclear, is a disease relat-ed to autoimmunity.Since there is no its name in traditional Chinese medicine,according to the stage of it and its clinical manifestations,PBC belongs to ＆quot;hypochondriac pain＆quot;＆quot;accumulation＆quot;＆quot;jaundice＆quot;and＆quot;meteor-ism＆quot;.In recent years, treatment based on syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine plays a vital role in the treatment of PBC.Due to the complexity of the pathogenesis,syndrome differentiation stand-ard basically comes out of the personal experiences and has not been unified.So it is necessary to use the research methods of modern medicine to strengthen the understanding of traditional Chinese medicine to PBC.
