Cultural globalization has been an irresistible trend in which translation industry plays a bridge part in the development and transmission of certain culture .Therefore, it has an important practical significance to investigate on the effects of cultural globalization on translation industry and the countermeasures of the latter .Cultural globalization has both good and bad impacts on Chinese translation industry .The former lies in the fact that cultural globalization gives birth to an abundant of translation jobs , promotes the development of foreign language news and accelerates the development of translation industry itself;the latter lies in the fact that cultural globalization lashes against the purity of Chinese and elevates the difficult degree of translation job .To deal with cultural globalization , it is necessary to normalize relative laws and regulations of translation industry , cultivate high-quality translators and play the role of translation association .
