估算基尼系数的一种简便方法

A Simple Method to Estimate the Gini Coefficient

基尼系数是衡量一个社会或者区域收入分配平均与否的指标,已经被广泛应用。很多学者对基尼系数的计算方法已经给出了许多不同的算法,并证明了各自的优缺点。文章采用分割法对计算公式进行了新的推导和证明,同时用此方法计算了2007年全国居民收入的基尼系数,并与其他的计算方法进行了比较,用本方法得到的相对误差较小。

The Gini Coefficient is an index of measuring whether the income distribution of a community or region is equal or not and it has been widely applied. Many scholars have shown a number of different algorithms and proved their advantages and disadvantages. In this paper, the calculation formula has a new derivation and proof by segmentation meth- od and the income of the country in 2007 is calculated by this method, compared with other calculation methods, this method can make the relative error much smaller.
