The Comparison of Magical Realism Characteristics between Dream of Red Mansions and Outlaws of the Marsh

"魔幻现实主义"是二十世纪五十年代前后,在拉丁美洲文坛上逐渐形成和发展起来的一种文学创作手法,它打破生死、时空的界限,结构时序任意颠倒,现实与非现实交织在一起,推动小说的情节发展。《红楼梦》与《水浒传》两部著作无论在叙事手法、人物塑造,还是感情表达方面都与西方的魔幻现实主义的手法有着异曲同工之妙。

＂Magical realism＂ is a literature creation technique gradually formed and developed in the Latin American literary around the 1950＂s. It promotes the development of the nove＇s plot by breaking the boundaries of life and death, time and space, reversing structure and timing arbitrarily, intertwining reality and non-reality. From the theoretical perspective of magical realism, this paper makes an in-depth comparison of magical realism creative features between the two works of Dream of Red Mansions and Outlaws of the Marsh by the analysis of several aspects of narration, characterization and emotional expression.
