周秉高教授所著《全先秦两汉诗》在目前的本子中是最全的一种,收录了先秦诗歌530多首,其中逸诗189首,比好多著作中估计的百十首,多出了几乎一倍。两汉诗歌收录更多。不仅收录了完整的诗,也收入了零句以及一些准诗,如谚语和歌谣等。本书的体例是周先生自己的创造,排列作品、注出出处、简明注释、形式全面、编写系年,附有考证(论)和索引。

Qin and Han Dynasties Poetry is the most perfect collection among the current books. It is a collection of more than 530 pre Qin poetry, including 189 Yi poems, almost twice as much as many other works. Even more Han Dynasty poetry is included in it. Not only includes the complete poem, but also collected the fragmentary sentences and pre-poems, such as proverbs and songs etc. The style of the book is Mr. Zhou＇s own creation, such as work arrangement, references, concise notes, comprehensive form, writing time, accompanied by research （theory） and index.
