Hakka culture has a long history, which is the general term of the material culture and spirit culture of Hakkas. In Qin and Han Dynasties, due to the war, Hakka people migrated from the North to the current Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangzhou and other places, during that long journey, Hakka culture not only retained the ancient ethnic heritage, but also absorbed the outstanding culture of other nationalities, and became a brilliant chapter in the history of China. Dance is a way to express people＇ s inner feelings through body language. The ecological culture of Hakka’s folk dance reflects the Hakka spirit. Its unique performance, style and content fully embody the spirit of Hakka culture. With the development of economy, the transformation of the society, Hakka folk dance has also changed. The exploration of Hakka folk dance ecological culture is also constantly moving forward. This article mainly elaborates on the Hakka folk dance historical development as well as the Hakka folk dance content, the present situation and the exploration in the future development.
