Countermeasures against Interferences in Monitoring of Boiler Flue Gas of High Humidity and Low Sulfur Using a Portable Non-Dispersive Infrared Gas Analyzer

The interferences from sampling flow,in situ temperature,and the back flushing of pretreatment device were discussed in monitoring the flue gas of high humidity and low sulfur dioxide using a portable non-dispersive infrared gas analyzer.Based on the laboratory and field tests,countermeasures were explored to eliminate these interferences,including controlling the sampling flow,ex-tending preheating of the equipment,and flushing the pretreatment device back,ensuring the stability and accuracy of the flue gas monitoring.
