The overview of China-Myanmar natural gas pipeline is introduced. The structure components, configuration and control mode of SCADA system are expounded. The application of SCADA system in China-Myanmar natural gas pipeline regulation and control is introduced. The analysis, judgment and treatment under abnormal working conditions of leakage, pipeline obstruction, communication outage, and abnormal gas supply are discussed except routine use. Application results show SCADA system can realize monitoring and controlling of natural gas pipeline very well with improving production management effectively and with high practical value.
