蒙脱土是一种硅铝酸盐粘土,具有层状结构,因它贮量丰富、价格低廉,是近年来受国内外广泛关注的矿物材料之一。由于其具有的特殊层状结构,使其具有层间可膨胀性,层间阳离子可交换性等特征,决定了蒙脱土在工业领域中的广泛应用。简要介绍了蒙脱土的结构、基本性质,重点介绍了蒙脱土目前的应用研究状况并展望了其应用前景。

Montmorillonite is a kind of clay mineral with a layered aluminosilicate structure. Because of its abundant storage and low price,it becomes one of the widely attertive mineral materials both at home and abroad in recent years. Since it has special layered structure, the interlayer expansibility, cation exchangea- bility and other characteristics make it widely used in industry. An overview of the structure and basic properties of montmorillonite was provided, focusing especialy on its current applied research and future prospect.
