Grand View Garden is Girls' Prison

从3个方面论证大观园并非"理想国"、"伊甸园",而是女儿监。第一从元妃省亲的全过程看,核心论据是:元妃哭诉父母"当日送我到那不得见人的去处(指内宫)"。第二从女儿们的人生结局看。在大观园里,她们不敢多说一句话、多行一步路,时时处处都有人坐监行探、密报,已有女儿直诉:这里是关人的"牢坑"、"笼子"。第三从意象象征层面上看。林黛玉的诗句"冷月葬花魂"便是所有红楼女儿悲剧的点睛之笔,她们如花如诗的青春、生命都在这里被埋葬了。大观园是泪园、血园、墓园,女儿们的祭奠园,《红楼梦》便是女儿们的长篇悼词。

This paper demonstrates from three aspects that Grand View Garden is not an ＂ideal country＂ or a ＂Garden of Eden＂ but a girls＇ prison. Firstly, it can be seen from the whole process ofYuan Fei＇ s visiting her parents. The core argument is that Yuan Fei cried and told her parents that ＂that day you sent me to that place （which refers to the inner house） where I can＇ t see people. Secondly, itcan be seen from the life ending of the girls. In the Grand View Garden, they dared not say one more word or walk one more step. There were spies anytime and anywhere. Girls once complained that this was people shutting prison and cage. Thirdly, it can be seen from the image symbol level. Lin Daiyu＇ s poem ＂Bury the souls of flowers in the cold moonlight＂ is the crowning touch of girls＇ tragedy in the Red Mansions. Their flowery and poetic youth and life were buried there. Grand View Garden is a garden of tear, blood and cemetery as well as girls＇ Memorial Park. A Dream in the Red Mansions is the girls＇ memorial speech.
