The paper introduces the working principle of selective stator ground fault protection of common busbar generator set, discusses the test methods and steps of ground fauh protection and analyzes the aelion waveforms inside and outside the protected zone, which are favorable for testing the same-type conneclion modes and protection de- vices, analyzing the faults on them, and reducing the impact of stator ground faults of expanded unil （multi-generator and a transformer） on unit operation, so as to ensure the safe and stable operation of the unit.
