This paper introduced operation mode and operation characteristics of main ventilator in Tiefeng Company before frequency conversion renovation, pointed out the insufficiency of operation before renovation, discussed superiority, necessity and main research contents main ventilator＇s frequency conversion renovation and obtained the importance of frequency conversion renovation.
