食品安全危机感是媒体炒作造成的吗——评部分食品专家对媒体的批评

Does the Media Hype Cause the Concern on the Crisis of Food Safety——Focus on Some Authoritative Food Experts ' Accusation Against Media

在全力整治食品安全问题的形势下,部分食品专家对媒体的严厉吐槽值得引起注意:食品安全危机是媒体炒作出来的,食品添加剂被媒体妖魔化了,媒体的报道影响了食品安全形势的发展。事实充分证明上述指责是不实之词。食品安全形势虽有好转,但依然很严峻,问题客观存在,媒体为促进食品安全的发展做出了极大贡献;食品添加剂被妖魔化是一个伪命题,由于超标、超量使用,产生了不少食品安全问题,自然引起了消费者的担忧,随着社会的发展和进步,取消或禁止使用某种添加剂是必然的;消费者不相信食品专家之言,并非由于对媒体错误报道的先入为主,而是由于部分权威食品专家任意曲解食品安全问题、对媒体过度指责、不负责任地化小食品安全问题,以及提出一些错误的理论而导致的权威性的丧失。为了促进食品安全形势的发展,食品专家应当理性对待媒体曝光食品安全问题,当然媒体也应当严守报道真实的原则。

In the situation where food safety issues are being fully remediated,some authoritative food experts accuse media of hyping out food safety crisis,aggrandizing food additives and exerting bad influence on the improvement of food safety. It is proved that these accusations are untrue. Food security situation has improved somewhat but remains severe,problems exist,the media do great job promoting the development of food safety. Aggrandizing food additives is a false proposition. Excessive use of food additives has resulted in a lot of food safety issues,which naturally aroused the fears of consumers. With development and progress of the society,prohibiting the use of certain additives is inevitable. Consumers do not believe what the food experts say is not due to the misleading of the media,but their own failure: misinterpretation and irresponsible disguise on food safety issues; over accusations of media; as well as proposal for false theory. In order to promote the development of the food security situation,food experts should be rational about the media coverage on food safety issues. Meanwhile,the media should strictly abide by the principle of truth.
