论中国高等教育现代化进程中的理论认识与实践选择

The Theoretical Cognition and Practical Choice during the Progress of Higher Education Modernization in China

关于高等教育现代化本质、目的及功能等有关问题的理论认识,影响和决定着高等教育现代化的实践选择,只有将理论认识与实践选择有机统一起来,才能达致目的的顺利实现。高等教育现代化的本质是实现人的现代化,实践中必须以此为根据选择、组织和开展教育实践活动。但是,理论和实践之间间隔的伴生性决定了我国的高等教育现代化进程不可能完全按照理论认识的预定轨道平稳前行,它必然在理论认识和实践选择的张力中呈现出波浪形、螺旋状发展态势。

The theories about higher education modernization＇s nature, goals and functions will in-fluence and determine the practical choices of China＇s higher education modernization, so we mustcombine the practical choices with theories in order to achieve the purpose modernization. The natureof such modernization is to realize man＇s modernization, the basis of all practices, such as choosing,organizing and evaluating. But, the gap between theory and practice decides that the process ofChina＇s higher education modernization will never be smooth as is scheduled by theories, and it will in-stead follow a wavy and spiral development during the integrated forces of theoretical cognition andpractice choice.
