Relay Protection Setting Analysis on 10kV Low Capacity Shunt Capacitor Bank Without Fuse

针对现行规范中10kV小容量无熔丝并联电容器组保护整定原则不明确,对电容器的安全运行带来隐患问题提出一些看法。通过计算电容器在发生内部故障时的电流和电压,并分析其变化规律,结合相关标准中的电容器运行限制条件,指出:为了保证电容器安全运行,即使安装了熔断器,无熔丝并联电容器组也应按电容器单元内部击穿一个元件动作跳闸整定。

As for the unclear setting protection principle of 10 kV small capacity shunt capacitor bank without fuse in the current specification and hazard to the safe operation of capacitor, some comments are proposed in this paper. It is pointed that, throughout calculating the current and voltage of a capacitor in the event of an internal fault, analyzing the law of its variation as well as combining operation restriction condition of capacitor of related standards, for the safe operation of capacitor, the shunt capacitor bank without fuse shall be set and protected when there is a capacitor element breakdown although fuse is in- stalled
