英汉反身代词对比探析

Comparative Analysis on the Reflexives of Chinese and English

本文以约束理论为基础,从形态、句法约束和分布三个方面分析了英汉语中反身代词的异同,分析发现英语反身代词和汉语复合反身代词在句法上的性质相似,都遵循约束理论A原则,而汉语简单反身代词"自己"却不完全遵循约束理论。此外,本文还简单评介了对汉语"自己"的一些解释理论。

The present paper discusses similarities and differences between the reflexives of English and Chinese in three respects of morphology, syntax, governing and distribution. The results indicate that English reflexives are similar to the complicated reflexives in Chinese in the syntactic perspective, while the simple reflexive ＂ziji＂ does not adhere to the Binding Theory. In addition, the paper gives a simple review on the theories about the special characteristics of ＂ziji＂.
