Chinese current art criticism lack genuine and effective “object --oriented” criticism, but Professor Li Shurong＇s art criticism book that The Wisdom of Art： Pondering Over The Quality of Art Consumption Object which was published recently has changed this status and has opened a new field of vi- sion to the true and effective art criticism. The new book reflected real, fresh, profound, unique, individ- ual, wise, effective criticism brilliance, because the author had adhered to the values and characters which art criticism should have. It was faithfully reflected in the critical attitude, the critical standards and the critical purpose and so on which were held, applied and uphold by the author in critical practices.
