秦军皮革见用

Application of Leather in the Qin's Army

认识古代皮革之用,秦军遗存尤多,中外史罕有比肩者。特别是秦始皇帝陵园四十余年科学发掘,出土了空前丰富、详实皮革资料。秦军士、战马、战车、兵器等多用,每处细节对研究秦军装备、秦皮革手工业、秦畜牧业、秦律等课题都难得,续写秦史可拾遗补阙。蕴含其中的学术价值难以小觑,有窥斑见豹作用。

A large number of remains of leather used by the Qin＇s army have been found to the present, especially in the site of Emperor QinshihuangJs Mausoleum during the past four decades where the remains of leather found in the different relics such as the terracotta soldiers, horses, chariots, and weapons, provid- ing rich informations for the study of military fittings, leather production industry, livestock raising, and legislation of Qin Dynasty.
