The paper simply introduced the main equipment and control principle of submerged slag conveyor chain protection, analyzed in detail the existing prominent problems of the control system. To solve the problems occurred in the unreasonable logic design of slag conveyor chain protection and unreasonable detection switch type, the technical reformation was made for protection system at Jiangsu Xinhai Power Plant. The obvious effects and benefit are ob- tained after eliminating the false tripping caused by mistake action of protection for submerged slag conveyor chain.
