In order to meet the needs of the market, by increasing the materials ration of Mn/Fe to 8.5~9.0 and controlling supplying amount of grog, the submerged arc furnace can produce high manganese and low silicon siliconmanganese (70.0%≤Mn≤71.5%、14.0%≤Si≤16.0%) to meet the needs of the market. It must pay attention to correct smelting operation and suitable type of slag selection.
