New Ideas and Judgments about the Purpose of the Party Put Forward by Xi Jinping since the 18th National Congress of CPC

党的十八大以来,习近平总书记围绕什么是党的宗旨、怎样践行党的宗旨提出了许多新思想和新论断。他强调党的宗旨说到底还是"为人民服务",把人民群众的期盼作为践行宗旨的具体要求。他创造性地从信仰的高度深刻阐述了党的宗旨,而且他还针对党员干部的思想状况提出了新形势下落实宗旨的新举措。在庆祝中国共产党成立94周年之际,认真学习和领会这些新思想和新论断具有重要的现实意义。

Since the Eighteenth National Congress of CPC ,Xi Jinping put forward many new ideas and judgments about what is the purpose of the party and how to practice it. He stressed that the purpose of the party is in essence＂ serving the people＂ and that we should regard the expectations of the people as the specific requirements in exercising it. He expounded the purpose of the Party from the height of belief creatively and profoundly. Besides, he also proposed new initiatives in implementing it accord- ing to the mentalities of Party members and cadres in the new situation. It is of great significance to study and try to understand these new ideas and judgments in celebrating the 94thanniversary of the foundation of the Communist Party.
