摘要
虞山书院位于江苏常熟,是一所祭祀孔子弟子子游的书院。该书院创建于宋代庆元年间,之后屡废屡兴。明代万历三十四年,常熟知县耿橘加以修复,将它作为传播道德学术的重要场所。耿橘重视用会讲的方式吸引众多学者、文士前来砥砺问学、讲道较文,其文学教育与道德教育密切联系。在会讲之余,虞山书院还经常从事文学创作活动,其创作中的一些作品染有浓厚的道德色彩。书院是中国古代教育的重要机构,也是宣传儒家思想的重要阵地。历代很多书院重视道德学术,将传道授学作为一项神圣的使命,而文学的载道性特点又为道德之学在书院文学教育中的渗透提供了有利条件,书院文学创作也往往打上鲜明的道德烙印。明代时期虞山书院的文学教育与文学创作只不过是反映这种现象的一个典型事例而已。
The academy named Yushan was located in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, which was selected sacrifice to idol and founded during the time of Qingyuan in the Song Dynasty. The magistrate of Changsh Ziyou as u County whose name was Geng Ju repaired the academy in the thirty - fourth year when was dominated by Emperor Shenzong and engaged in moral and academic education. The literature education and creation were closely connected with morality. Academy was an important institution of ancieant education and place of disseminating Confucian thoughts. Many academy leaders paid attention to moral and academic education and close connection of literary and morality which offered a favorable condition to moral permeating in literature education and creation. The academy named Yushan was a typical case reflecting this kind of phenomenon.
