New Concepts in an Old Framework: Poetry of Ma Junwu in the Late Qing Dynasty and the Early Republic of China

在清末民初诗坛,马君武是置身时代主潮的不可轻忽的新派诗人,其诗歌创作贯穿20世纪初年先后兴起的诗界革命、革命诗潮及随后形成的革命文学社团南社兴衰的全过程,"鼓吹新学思潮,标榜爱国主义"是其主旋律,"须从旧锦翻新样"是其诗学宗趣。清末民初马君武诗歌是透视近代诗歌新变脉络中从诗界革命到革命诗潮之间的历史关联的典型个案。

In the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, Ma Junwu is a distinguished delegate of the new poetry. His poetry recordes the whole process throughout the poetry revolution of China and the poetry trends of revolution in China at the beginning of the 20th century to the rise and fall of a revolutionary literature association named Nanshe. ＂Advocating new trend of thought, flaunt patriotism＂ is the main theme of the series of revolution. ＂We shall put new concepts in the old framework＂ is the poetics＇ cases of interest. Ma Junwu＇ s poetry in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China is the stellar representative to analyze the historical link between the poetry revolution of China in the early 20th century and the poetry trends of revolution in China.
