From the analysis of the ancient buildings in the urban construction of China, the paper illustrates the importance of preserving the buildings, discloses the necessity to protect them, and points out a series of protection measures and suggestions, so as to maintain the buildings to be intact in the urbanization accelerating progress and prolong the historical culture.
