The Evolution of Female Consciousness in Chinese American New Immigrant Novels from the Perspective of Five Divorced Women

1995年到2010年,美华新移民小说中离婚女性形象发生了很大的变化。从《美国梦里》、《美国爱情》、《美国情人》到《白日飘行》,女主人公离婚逐渐获得了合理性,可看做新移民女性对男权保守的"进阶突围",但婚姻道德始终是小说中的重要主题。1996年张慈在美国出版的小说《浪迹美国》通过谢思羽反叛婚姻道德的方式消解男权,显示出美华新移民小说中少见的激进女性意识。

From 1995 to 2010,great change had taken placed in the image of divorced females in the Chinese American new immigrant novels.In American Dream,American Love,American Lover to Gone Daily Trip,the divorce of heroines becomes reasonable.It can be regarded as the new female immigrants’ forceful response to the patriarchy,but marriage morality is still the main theme of the novels.In Traces the US （1 9 9 6 ）by Zhang Ci in America,the heroine Xie Siyu disobeyed marriage morality to dissolve patriarchy,showing unusual radical female consciousness in Chinese American new immigrant novels.
