“满洲”与《满韩漫游》

"满洲"一词频现于夏目漱石《满韩漫游》一作。然而该词系满族旧称,中国罕见用作地名。日本人以之呼中国东北,意将"满洲"与"支那"并论,割裂东北与其他地区的联系。"满洲""成为"中日共争之地,殖民"满洲"成了同汉族"闯关东"一样的"开拓","文明程度"远超中国的日本有了做"满洲之主"的正当理由。夏目漱石沿用"满洲"一词,不经意间接受了该词背后的殖民逻辑。《满韩漫游》中便出现了"满洲"与"支那"并立、中日对比、"满洲"的主人意识等殖民思想要素。

Manchulia ,frequently used in Travels in Manchulia and Korea by Natsume Soseki ,is the old name of Man people .Japanese referred to it for Northeast China ,in order to highlight this region compared with China ,though Manchulia was not a geographical name in contemporary China .By semantic conversion of Manchulia ,Japanese gained a justification for competing with Chinese in Northeast China even ruling this area with the advantages of development .Nat-sume unconsciously accepted its colonial logic because of following the usage of Manchulia as a place .The colonial ideol-ogy such as differentiating Northeast China from China ,comparison between Chinese and Japanese ,and the host con-sciousness about Northeast China ,appeared in his works Travels in Manchulia and Korea .
