The paper takes electronic map production based on ArcGIS as the study object .This paper discusses the technical process and methods of electronic map production in geographic information public service platform , and the paper elaborates the relevant key technologies about annotation processing by Maplex , thus create high quality dynamic annotation and optimize the quantity and quality of maps annotation , which achieves online map display , browsing and tagging based on geographic information public service platform .
