道德型领导力的研究是近年来组织管理学的一项重要理论探索,它主要研究领导力在道德方面的内涵。道德型领导力假定:领导者是管理活动的主体,领导者的道德素质直接决定组织管理的成败。中国晚清时期的大思想家魏源基于"经世致用"这一根本原则,结合新的时空背景,创造性地发展了传统的修身、齐家和治国思想,其中包涵丰富的道德型领导力思想,这些思想对现代组织管理不无启示意义。

The study of ethical leadership is an important theoretical exploration of the modern organization management, and it focuses on the ethical connotation of leadership. Ethical leadership assumes that： leader is the main body of management activities, and the moral quality of leader directly decides success or failure of organization and management. Under the guidance of Learning to Administer State Affairs in Order to Apply It, combining the objective reality, Wei Yuan developed creatively the traditional moral philosophy with abundant ideas of moral leadership in it, which gives insight to modern organization management.
