Research on the Value of Etiquette in the Moral Education of University Students

中国具有五千年的历史,素有"礼仪之邦"之称,礼仪有着独特的道德功能,它既是道德要求的外在表现形式,又能推动个人道德修养的完善与进步。当前大学生礼仪素养缺失已成为高校德育工作的挑战,礼仪对大学生德育工作有重要意义,它是高校德育的重要内容,能提高德育内容的可操作性,增强大学生提升思想道德修养的主动性,有利于保障德育工作的实效性。

China has five thousand years of history and is always hailed as ＂a state of etiquette＂. Etiquette has a unique function of moral education, as it not only acts as the external form of the re- quirement of morality, but also promotes the perfection and progress of individual moral accomplishment. Contemporary uni- versity students＇ lack of etiquette accomplishment has become a challenge to university moral education. Etiquette, as an impor- tant content of university moral education, is of great significance in the moral education of university students, as it can improve the operability of moral education content, and strengthen uni- versity students＇ initiative in improving their ideological and moral accomplishment, thus ensuring the effectiveness of moral education.
