JSA （Job Safety Analysis） is an effective means com- monly applied to the operation safety evaluation and risk analysis on construction sites, and it can effectively ensure safety opera- tion. Combined with the JSA safety management idea learned in supervising the project of Tianjin Research and Development In- dustrial Base of China National Offshore 0il Corporation, this pa- per details the definition of JSA in construction projects, analyzes its formulation methods and principles, the implementation of JSA and its operation, as well as its advantages and significance compared with traditional safety management.
