摘要
现代美国教育家杜威提出的"从做中学"是一个举世闻名的重要教育理论。文章从"从做中学"的理论依据入手,构建了"从做中学"理论在中外合作办学项目大学英语课程中的教学思路设计方案;阐述了这一理论在大学英语教学中的运用改变了学生的学习方式、提高了学生的学习兴趣、提升了学生英语的交际能力、增强了学生英语学习的自信心;为"从做中学"理论在中外合作办学背景下的大学英语教学提出了整合多种教材、转变师生角色定位、调整教学模式和优化评价方式等实施条件。
Modern American educator John Dewey’s “Learning by Doing”is a world-famous important education theory.With the author’s English teaching practice,the paper begins the characteristics of language teaching on the basis of “Learning by Doing”,it discusses teaching ideas and teaching activi-ties in Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education of College English Teaching;it expounds that the theory ap-plied has changed the students’learning way ,improved the students'interest in English learning and English communicative ability and enhanced the students’self-confidence;it presents some suggestions to carry out by the integration of varieties of teaching materials,changing the roles between teachers and students,adj usting teaching model and the evaluation methods.
