Excellent traditional culture is the inexhaustible source of ideological and political education. This paper discussed the reasons of the lack of excellent traditional culture in university ideological and political education, innovated and explored mul- tiple channels of infiltrating excellent traditional culture into uni- versity ideological and political education, looking forward to strengthening the university ideological and political education.
