In the new situation, university counselors are faced with various challenges as well as unprecedented opportunities in their work, which require them to redefine their role in order to become life mentors for university students. What they should do is to guide students＇ ideological and political education, guide students to establish a healthy lifestyle, guide students to accom-plish their academic careers and realize employment, and guide the innovation of digital education styles.
