中英言语幽默的语用策略研究

A Study on Pragmatic Strategy in English and Chinese Verbal Humor

言语幽默作为一种语用策略,在日常生活中被广泛使用,本文从语用策略角度出发,研究言语行为理论、合作原则以及礼貌原则在幽默言语产生过程中的作用,结合现实生活中的幽默语例,发现交际者对言语行为言外之意的故意曲解,故意违反合作原则或是礼貌原则,刻意遵守礼貌原则等方式都会产生幽默效果。从语用策略角度研究言语幽默可以帮助学习者提高中英言语幽默的欣赏能力,培养幽默意识,提高跨文化交际能力。

As a pragmatic strategy, verbal humor is widely used in common life. This paper studies the function of speech act theory, cooperative theory and politeness theory in the production of verbal humor from the perspective of pragmatic strategy. Verbal humor is caused by many ways including misunderstanding of the illocutionary act, violation of the maxims in CP and PP deliberately and abidance of the PP maxims and so on. The paper can help the English learner improve humor consciousness and appreciation ability, and then improve their cultural communicative competence.
