摘要
调群是将较长话语语流切分成较短的与句法相关的话语片断,它与说话人对信息块的感知相对应。文章依据Cruttenden提出的调群边界四大外部指征:停顿、起首轻音节、延时音节以及非重读音节的音高重设,以10名英语母语者定语从句调群切分为参照标准,以60名英语学习者为受试对象,从调群边界指征、that的声学特征及调群与句法关系三方面对学习者定语从句调群切分进行研究。
A syntax-related discourse segment divided from long speech is defined as a tone group,which has correspondence with speaker＇ s perception of information chunks. Cruttenden theorized the four external indications of tonality boundary as pause,anacrusis,lengthening and pitch reset of unaccented syllable. Based on this theory, ten native speakers＇ tonality is taken as reference and 60 English learners as subjects. This paper explores the tonality of English learners in attributive clause in terms of the boundary indications, acoustic features of ＂that＂ and tone group-syntax relationships.
