Fu Zhenlun is a famous archival scientist in our country, his masterpiece, Methods of Manage- ment of Records and Archives, is regarded as one of the thirteen classic archival works in the Republic of China, and a major achievement in the field of archives. This article combs the contents of this book and summarizes its special value in content and research perspective, it also makes some comments on them and points out its unique feature on writing and some limits. It aims to appeal archival figures to ap- preciate the classic works and to absorb the rational kernel, so that more power and nutrition can be ac- cumulated for the new development of archival science.
