A Study of Zhuangzi and Laozi Being Placed in the Same Bibliography in Historical Records

庄子归属于老子的道家学派是汉代人所做的学术分野。汉人整合老庄的过程中,《史记》对老庄申韩的同传而书无疑具有开拓性的重要作用。《史记》归庄入老并不是因为司马迁没有读懂《庄子》,而是他看到却又舍弃了庄学的思想核心,认为那些不过是空洞虚无的"寓言"而已。这其中的原因,一则是源于积极进取的时代精神与儒道斗争的社会现实;一则是其"务为治"的指导思想导致了老庄的同传而书。
