The Economic Legislation Specialization's Influence on the Two Song Dynasties and the Later Generalizations

两宋在中国历史上是一个十分特殊的时代。其特殊性首先表现在:政治上积贫积弱,受到来自北方的少数民族政权的滋扰,远不能与以前的朝代相比。但同时,它又是一个经济文化高度繁荣发展的时代,在中国古代的历史长河中占有很重要的地位。它的政治的特殊性与经济文化的繁荣同时体现在它的立法过程之中。两宋的立法,尤其是经济领域的立法,也就是我们现代意义上的经济法,在中国古代的法制建设史上具有重要的开创性的意义。两宋的经济立法吸取了前代的法律中的合理有用的成分;同时,两宋的经济立法的专门化对宋代乃至后世经济领域的立法都产生了不可磨灭的影响,成为宋代以降立法的典范与蓝本。

In Chinese history, the Northern and Southern Song Dynasties are considered an extraordinary period, which firstly manifested in the following aspects, such as politically weak, interruption from the minority regime in the north, lag behind the previous dynasties. Meanwhile, the Two Song Dynasties occupied a fundamental position in the long history for its highly developed economy and prosperous culture, which demonstrated in its legislation. Referring to the legislation, especially in economy, namely the economic law in modern times, it has the groundhreaking significance in legal construction of ancient China. The economic law adopted the reasonable parts of the previous law and at the same time, the specialization of which had an indelible influence on the Song Dynasty and the later generations in economy and became the model of legislation for surrender since Song Dynasty.
