Polymorphism of GSTM1 and prostate cancer in Asian people:a Meta-analysis

摘要 目的 探讨亚洲人群谷胱甘肽巯基转移酶基因GSTM1多态性与前列腺癌易感性的关系.方法 检索Pubmed、EMBase、CBM、CNKI、VIP、万方数据平台从建库到2013年8月1日的文献,对所纳入的研究,运用RevMan5.2软件进行meta分析,Stata 11.0软件进行Egger's检验和Begg's检验.结果 共纳入13篇病例对照研究,累计样本量为3889例,其中前列腺癌病例组1 444例,对照组2 445例.Meta分析结果可见亚洲人群中GSTM1无效基因型与前列腺癌易感性呈显著性正相关(OR=1.42,95% CI=1.10-1.82,P=0.007).亚组分析提示,印度人群及东亚人群中,GSTM1无效基因型均显示出能显著增加前列腺癌易感性(OR=1.73,95% CI=1.18-2.53,P=0.005)(OR=1.43,95% CI=1.02-2.02,P=0.04).各文献间未见明显发表偏倚.结论 在亚洲人群中GSTM1无效基因型与前列腺癌易感性呈正相关. Objective To explore the association between GSTMI polymorphism and prostate cancer in Asian people. Methods Databases, including Pubmed, EMBase, CBM, CNKI, VIP, Wanfang Data, were searched to get related studies. Data analysis was conducted by Revman 5.2 software and STATA 11.0 software. Results Thirteen case-control studies were included. Totally, using M-H method in the random-effects model, the GSTM1 null genotype was associated with prostate cancer in Asian people (OR=1.42, 95% CI=1.10-1.82,P=0.007). In subgroup analysis, the GSTM1 null genotype was associated with prostate cancer in Indian and East Asian people (OR=1.73, 95% CI=1.18-2.53,P=0.005) (OR=1.43, 95% CI=1.02-2.02,P=0.04). There was no existence of publication bias. Conclusion This meta-analysis suggests that there may be a relationship between the GSTM1 null genotype and prostate cancer in Asian people.
