从目标市场来看,L8.9G更多的是应用在12 m大型客车上,而B6.7G发动机的搭载范围比L8.9G更加宽广,主要面向8~12 m的公交及客运车辆。B6.7G比L8.9G面对的市场远远要大,可能在3、4倍以上。在5月11日举行的2015北京客车展上,康明斯发布了国产天然气发动机系列的最新产品B6.7G。B6.7G是康明斯继2014年推出首款国产天然气发动机L8.9G之后的又一力作,也是康明斯本地研发、本地制造的第2款天然气发动机。

May 11,2015,Cummins launched its newly developed natural-gas engine products—B6.7G,which was considered to be another promising engine product since 2014 when it launc hed model L8.9G—the first naturalgasengine product.This new product is also the second localized natural-gas engine product Cummins had developed and produced in China.
