摘要 办学传统与办学特色是两个既有区别又有联系的概念。两者的共同之处在于:它们都是在学校长期的办学实践中形成的,都属于学校文化的范畴。两者的区别在于:办学传统是学校纵向的、历史的、文化的比较与传承,而办学特色则是学校横向的、现实的、文化的比较与凸显;办学传统有优劣之分,而办学特色则是学校优秀文化的结晶;办学传统是在学校长期的办学实践过程中自发形成的,而办学特色不能随着办学历史的延续自然而然地产生。两者的联系在于:优良的办学传统是办学特色形成的基础和前提,打造办学特色的品牌必须以优良的办学传统为依托。优良的办学传统不等于办学特色,只有科学地总结、梳理学校的办学传统,使学校优良的办学传统得以发扬、光大,才有可能凝练、升华出学校的办学特色,变学校优良的办学传统为学校的办学特色。 School traditions and school characteristics are two different but related concepts. What they have in common are. they are both formed in long-time practice of school running, and both belong to the category of school culture. Their differences lie in: school traditions are schools' vertical, historical and cultural comparison and inheritance, while school characteristics are schools' horizontal, real, cultural comparison and highlight; school traditions may be good or bad, but school characteristics are the essence of the outstanding school culture; school traditions are spontaneously formedduring the long-time practice of school running, while school characteristics can not naturally come into being as the continuation of school history. Connections between the two are. good school traditions are the basis and prerequisite for the formation of school characteristics, and to create a brand of school characteristics must rely on the fine traditions of the school. The fine traditions of the school do not mean school characteristics, which must be condensed by scientifically summarizing school traditions, and carrying forward the good school tradition.
