Precision journalism tries to achieve value neutrality by em- phasizing norms and methods established in social science, minimizing possible deviation of news reporting. Precision journalism intends to clarify the ins and outs of the news; it advocates careful selection of data that have news value and expertise in digging out data and using a variety of techniques to make data more read- able, thus showing greater dissemination of the value of precise news reporting.
