基于陇右文化培养学生跨文化交际能力的探究

A Study on Cultivating Students' Intercultural Communicative Competence Based on Longyou Culture

语言是文化的传播工具。在英语全球化语境下,译介各具风情的地域文化为构建中华民族文化身份提供了绝佳素材。本文以深具陇右文化特色的天水师范学院为例,地方高校如能尝试从教师、教材、课内外活动以及教学评估等方面入手,努力把本地地域文化导入大学英语课程,将有助于突出其办学优势,也是提高大学生跨文化交际能力,言说自我以满足多元对话与共存的一种新途径。

Language is a communicating tool of culture.In the context of English globalization,the translation of distinctive regional culture provides a perfect material for constructing Chinese national identity.The paper takes Tianshui Normal University as an example to discuss the way of integrating its unique Longyou regional culture into college English courses from the perspective of teacher’s preparation, teaching materials,both activities in and after class as well as teaching assessment.This meaningful integration of rich regional culture by local colleges and universities not only helps to highlight their school running characteristics,but strengthens their students’intercultural communicative competence.It sheds a new light on finding Chinese college students’ self-voice in English dialogues within a multicultural coexisting background.
