Deserted City, Jia Pingwa＇s masterpiece works, is one of most modern sense work in Chinese contemporary novel; But Deserted City was neglected,and its value has been seriously underestimated in the literary history. Whether its text structure,or Deserted City＇s reading, acceptance, have formed the multiple paradoxes. Deserted City′s overall style of modernism and decadent aesthetic taste formed a challenge to traditional Chinese literature aesthetic.
