探析《老人与海》的生态主义批评

Analysis of “The Old Man and The Sea” from the Perspective of Ecological Criticism

《老人与海》是"迷惘一代"最著名作家之一的埃内斯特海明威的最具代表性的作品之一。《老人与海》通过对圣地亚哥捕鱼过程的细致描写,体现了丰富而又复杂的生态内涵。笔者从生态批评主义角度出发对《老人与海》进行了重新的解读,分析了作者矛盾的生态观以及其三种根源,并通过小说中主人公对自然和生活的态度分析阐述了作者对人与自然的关系思考。

＂The Old Man and The Sea＂ is one of the most representative works of Ernest Hemingway, one of the most famous writers of ＂the Lost Generation＂. Through a detailed description of Santiago＇ fishing process, the novel reflected the rich, complex ecological connotation. The author reinterprets ＂The Old Man and The Sea＂ from the perspective of ecological criticism. The paper analyses Hemingway＇ s contradictory ecological view and three kinds of causes.
