A Semantic Analysis of the “VV+DE” Structure in the Hanshou Dialect in Hunan

汉寿话属于官话区常鹤片,与目前使用的共同语非常接近。在汉寿话方言系统中,动词一般不重叠,但汉寿话中存在一类特殊结构"VV得",形式与动词重叠式几近相同。文章试从语义角度分析"VV得",探讨"VV得"中"V"的限制条件、否定式和疑问式,阐述其表达效果。

Hanshou dialect belongs to the Changhe part of the Mandarin district. It＇s very similar to the common language. In Hanshou dialect, the verb cannot be reduplicated. However, there is a special structure＂VV＋DE＂which seems like a verb reduplication form, but can never be seen in common language. The paper is performed from its semantic use and studies the restriction of the ＂V＂ in ＂VV＋DE＂ structure. The paper is related to the negative form and interrogative expression of the ＂V＂. It also discusses the expressive effect of this structure.
