On Becoming Classic Movie

一部经典影片,它的艺术风格必然是具有原创性的,进而从原创性走向互文性,被更多的影片所接受与模仿。其次,影片的主题应当具有超越性,超越影片中所描述的故事情节本身,超越时空的限制,能够被具有共同文化价值认同的民族或个人所接受。另外,影片的意义必须具有生成性,不同的人在不同的时间、地点观看影片后的感悟应当是不同的,即影片的阐释意义是不可穷尽的。

A classic movie should be original and intertextual in artistic style and can be imitated by other movies. The theme of the movie should be of transcendence, beyond the contents and not limited to space and time. The movie should be recognized by nations or people of the same cultural value. In addition, the meaning of the movie should be generating that different people can have different feelings in different time and places. That is to say, the meaning of the movie should be unlimited.
